Uploading/Importing your e-Pack into
CE 6/Vista 4
Importing
your
e-Pack into an existing section
- Log into
your section as the Section Designer or the Section Instructor/Designer.
- On the Build
Tab, click the Manage Course Link.
- Click the
Import link. A new window will open.
- Select
the My Computer icon.
- Locate
the .epk or .zip file you have downloaded and double-click it.
- You will
see Content Import in Progress. Please allow the import to complete. This can take several minutes to more than an hour depending
on the complexity and size of the e-Pack.
Click the Return button at the bottom of the import
screen when the import is complete. You may now begin using and modifying the
e-Pack content and quizzes to meet your needs.
Importing
your e-Pack into an existing template or as a new template
If you are
using Vista 4, or have CE 6 with the Learning Object Manager module, you may import an e-Pack as
its own Template. You may also import it into an existing Template, as long as
the template does not already contain an e-Pack.
To
import your e-Pack as its own Template:
- Login as
an Institutional, Division, Group, or Course level designer.
- Click on
the Administration Tab.
- Click on
the Content Manager tab.
- Click on
the Templates Manager button.
- Click on
the Import Content as Template button. A new window will open.
- Select
the My Computer icon.
- Locate
the .epk or .zip file you have downloaded and double-click it.
- Once the
file has been uploaded, enter a Name, Keywords, and a description for the
Template, and click the Import button.
- You will
see Content Import in Progress. Please allow the import to complete. This can take several minutes to more than an hour
depending on the complexity and size of the e-Pack.
Click the Return button at the bottom of the import
screen when the import is complete. You may now begin using and modifying the
e-Pack content and quizzes to meet your needs.
To
import your e-Pack into an existing Template:
- Login as
an Institutional, Division, Group, or Course level designer.
- Click on the

the Template you want to import the e-pack into.
