| Exemplary Course Program The WebCT
and Blackboard Exemplary Course Programs have merged, and the new
name is the Blackboard Greenhouse Exemplary Course Program. Members
of the WebCT and Blackboard user communities are welcome to submit
courses.
Blackboard's mission is to enable educational innovations everywhere
by connecting people and technology. One way we seek to foster connections
is through our Greenhouse Awards programs, which help build a collective
body of knowledge and best practices.
The Exemplary Course Program (ECP) recognizes courses that model
best practices in learning, course design, interaction and collaboration,
assessment and evaluation, meaningful technology use, and learner
support. Learn
more about the project and its leaders.

2008
Exemplary Course Program |
 |
| |
|
For the 2008 project, the Blackboard and WebCT Exemplary
Course Programs have been integrated, improved, and expanded.
Nominate your course now (Download
DOC). The deadline for submissions is Jan. 22, 2008.
Nomination of a course is intended to be a reflective process,
providing an opportunity for instructors and course developers to
look at their course in a fundamentally different way, and as such,
the nomination process consists of a self-evaluation of the course
using the ECP rubric, which is in the submission form, as a guide.
